Trade Fair held in Navi Mumbai

The first mega event, KVC Trade Fair, was held on January 16 – 17th, 2016 at the Banquet Hall of Haware’s Centurion Mall, Seawoods East, Navi Mumbai. The two days of the trade fair, witnessed a stupendous footfall over the weekend, having 8000 visitors to the exhibition. A sustained promotional campaign, rich in aesthetics and positioning, ensured that people from all over the city converged at the exhibition.
This unique exhibition-cum-sale on display in some 60 stalls, was organised by Kokni Vyapari Council (KVC), showcases products and services from Lifestyle, Apparels & Fashion, Jewellery, Perfumes, Hijabs, Handicrafts, Leather, Gifting, Home Décor, Electricals, Kitchenware, Beautycare, Healthcare, Automobiles, Building & Construction, Home & Office Automation, IT & Web Services, Education, Insurance, Foods & Beverage, Kokni Sweets, Wedding Planner Investment Opportunities and many more.
The event was inaugurated by Shri. Rajan Vichare, MP, Thane Constituency accompanied by Shri. Vithal More and Shri. Salim Shaikh. Also present were Shri Sudhakar Sonawane, Mayor of Navi Mumbai, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. They took time to visit the stalls and make inquiries and later spent time with KVC committee members and visiting dignitaries at the B2B Stand which was jointly sponsored by Goodwill Developers and Mitkar Builders & Developers.
One can witness a crowd of celebrities, prominent personalities, an elite gathering of socialites as well as politicians visiting the KVC Trade Fair. Also present were Shri. Ravindra Ithape (Corporator NMMC), Shri. Munawar Patel (Corporator NMMC), Smt. Suleja Sutar (Corporator NMMC), Shri. Ali M. Shamshi, Shri. Iqbal Kaware, Shri. Sunil Honrao (Vice-President, BJP, Navi Mumbai), Smt. Neha Honrao and Shri. Tahir Patel (Sarpanch, Taloja Gaon).

They appreciated the overall planning and arrangements at the fair, the diverse options available and the aesthetic appeal of the exhibition. It was ensured that the layout of the halls was scientific and was positioned in such a manner that none of the exhibitor’s stall could be missed by the visitor. One of the biggest attractions was the Food Court with diverse culinary options like kokni sweets and food joints which made for animated conversation and discussions amongst the visitors and exhibitors alike. The Trade Fair also provided Buyer to Buyer (B2B) platform to the exhibitors to interact and build relationships.
Exhibitors too were satisfied with the footfall at the KVC Trade Fair as it was a great exposure opportunity and selling platform for them. Journalists and reporters spoke directly with the participants which ensure good exposure for them and their product individually. Also, hourly lucky draws for visitors and a person with minimum spend of Rs.5000/- qualified for shopping gifts, took many by surprise, the winners were happy as they went back home with their lucky draw prizes and offers.
