Mega Health Camp in Navi Mumbai

Noorul Islam Trust and Kokni Vyapari Welfare Association jointly conducted a free Medical & Health Checkup & Consultation Camp to provide specialized high quality medical services from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm on 70th Republic day 2019 at Noor Masjid, Sector 9A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Various health services relating to sugar, blood pressure, ECG tests for heart condition, eyes sight, dental, homeopathy, physiotherapy and second opinion advice etc. was made available to people from all communities.
The team was lead by Dr. Abdulla Haneef, MD, Consultant Chest Physician, Dr. Imtiyaz Kondkari, Second Opinion Advisor, Dr. Firoz Sarang & Dr. Nuzhat Sarang, Homeopath, Dr. Sachin Patil of Prime Healthcare, Dr. Shehnaz Kazi, Physiotherapist. The doctors conducted free check-up of almost 200 patients and eyeglasses provided free of cost to the needy.
Ms. Swati Mukta of Dr. Lal PathLabs conducted free sugar and cholesterol test for the patients. Free eye check-up and consultancy was done by AEHI, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai.
Dr. M.S. Kale and Dr. Kavita Kale with their assistants from Shalaka Dental Clinic were also present to provide free dental check-up. GENERICO, IIT Bombay Alumni Initiative, conducted test for B.P and Asthma.
Online pre-registration facility was available for availing the free check-up and consultancy services. Free ambulance service was also provided during the camp by KVC, Navi Mumbai. We reserved a separate section for ladies to ensure privacy.
The camp was attended by several local dignitaries including; Chairman of Mumbai Slum Improvement Board (MSIB) and Shiv Sena deputy leader Shri. Vijay Nahata, Shiv Sena deputy leader Shri. Vithal More and Director of Humanity First Foundation HFF, Shri. Zafar Pirzada.
The visitors appreciated and thanked trustees of Noor Masjid, Vashi, Navi Mumbai and Kokni Welfare Association (KVC), Navi Mumbai for organizing medical camp on the auspicious occasion of Republic day.
