Medical Health Check up Camp at Vashi
A free Health Camp was jointly organized by Noorul Islam Trust and An-Noor Welfare Trust, Navi Mumbai on Sunday 11th March 2018 at the premises of Noor Masjid, Plot No. 61, Sector 9A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai wherein 180 males and 150 females from all walks of life and all age groups made the best of this opportunity, were examined.
The event started at in the morning at 10 with a medical and eye checkup. Physicians and lab technicians from Nexus Care, volunteered to contribute towards achieving the objectives, like measurement of pulse, blood pressure, height, weight, blood sugar monitoring to screen diabetes and BMI. Free medicines have been also provided during the camp.
Separate arrangements for health checkup and ECG were made for the male and female patients to ensure Hijab as well as adequate privacy for female patients.
Free eye check-up was held by One Vision Eye Care Partner – Advanced Eye Hospital and Institute (AEHI) offering screening for cataract, retina and refractive errors. Spectacles distribution and cataract surgery shall be undertaken as required.
The camp was attended by several local dignitaries including Shri. Avinash Lad (Corporator and Ex-Deputy Mayor of NMMC), Smt. Divya Vaibhav Gaikwad (Corporator, NMMC) Shri. Vaibhav Gaikwad (Ex Corporator, NMMC) and Shri. Ajay Kumar Langde, Police Incharge Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
The beneficiaries were happy and requested for similar such camps in future. Shri Maqbool Shaikh of Noorul Islam Trust came forward and thanked AEHI, Nexus Care and Dr. Imtiyaz Kondkari, President of KVC – Kokni Vyapari Council for their association.
Volunteers from An-Noor Welfare Trust executed the camp process according to the plan. Their energy and team spirit really helped in making the health camp a success.
